With the gradual advancement of China's "dual carbon" strategy, energy consumption management in the food processing industry has gradually become an important improvement goal that enterprises must pay attention to. How to reduce energy consumption and improve energy utilization efficiency through data trend analysis is an important link in the digital transformation of current food processing enterprises.

This food processing plant focuses on the production of baked foods such as biscuits and cakes. Its production process covers multiple steps including raw material mixing, baking and forming, cooling treatment, and packaging. During the production process, the main energy consumption of the plant includes electricity (used to drive baking ovens and refrigeration equipment), gas (used for heating systems), and water resources (mainly used for cleaning and cooling processes). However, in recent years, enterprises have found that the overall energy consumption has been rising and the cost has been increasing, so it is urgent to realize energy-saving and consumption-reducing transformation.

Functional features

1. The monitored data include: equipment energy consumption data (power consumption of baking ovens, real-time power of refrigeration equipment, power consumption of packaging machines, etc.); production data (processing time of each batch of products, production output, etc.); energy purchase volume (water and gas consumption).

2. Realize visual processing on the platform, summarize energy consumption data according to time dimensions (hour, day, week, month); classify and sort energy consumption according to equipment and process links, and correlate energy consumption with production; summarize alarm information to show alarm trends and frequencies.

3. Build a centralized monitoring and management system network to realize the monitoring and management of equipment and energy consumption on mobile phones and computers, and realize remote control and remote maintenance operations of PLC, so as to improve work efficiency and management level.
