Wisdom Waterworks, as an important application scenario of industrial IoT technology in smart water management, is increasingly becoming a key force in enhancing water resource management efficiency and ensuring water supply safety.

 By utilizing industrial IoT gateways, various equipment within the waterworks, such as PLCs, instruments, sensors, and cameras, can be connected and data can be collected. This data is then integrated into various upper-level management platforms, providing flexible and rich application functions that contribute to improved work efficiency and management levels.

Managers can remotely monitor information such as water levels in the plant's pools, inflow and outflow rates, outlet pressure, and water quality from the waterworks control room.

 They can also remotely monitor the operational status of booster pump sets, power distribution equipment, and other automated devices, as well as remotely control the start and stop of booster pumps. Staff from management departments can remotely monitor the operational status and operation logs of each waterworks.


Functional Characteristics

  • Collect information such as inflow rates, water levels in storage and clear water tanks, outlet pressure, outflow rates, and outlet water quality.
  • Collect parameters for each booster water pump, including start/stop status, operating time, working current, working voltage, outlet pressure, and outlet flow rate.
  • Collect data on the switch status and total electrical energy of power distribution room equipment.
  • Monitor video images of critical areas such as the waterworks gate, water treatment workshop, and pump room.
  • Support manual/automatic control mode switching for booster pump set control cabinets and remote start/stop control of pump set equipment, operable via both mobile phones and computers.
  • Immediately report alarm information in cases of excessive current, low water levels, high pressure, power distribution failures, etc.
  • Support wired Ethernet communication as well as wireless communication methods such as 5G/4G and WIFI for connection to cloud platforms or upper-level computers.
  • Monitor online the turbidity, pH value, residual chlorine, and other water quality indicators of the outlet water, and interface with other departmental platforms through environmental protection protocols.
