Overview of Setting Machines

Setting machines are common mechanical equipment found in textile dyeing and finishing factories. After fabrics are thoroughly impregnated with various chemical agents, they enter an oven where, under high-temperature hot air conditions, the fabrics rapidly set, achieving a desirable hand feel and stable dimensions. These machines are widely used in textile processing factories for curtains, socks, shoe uppers, printed fabrics, and more.

PLC-Controlled Setting Machines

Setting machines controlled by Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) enable automated production, accurately controlling steam pressure, pressurization, and the on/off switching of electric heating equipment, while also managing data such as temperature and humidity, and pressure.

Solution

The PLC is connected to the Wutongbolian industrial smart gateway via serial or network ports. The gateway can collect data from multiple devices and connect to the internet via 5G/4G/WIFI/Ethernet.

 After edge computing processing, the data is transmitted in real-time to a cloud platform or local upper computer for management, display, and analysis. It can also be uploaded to configuration software for real-time monitoring and alarming of multiple devices and various types of data.
